VERY OLD ARTICLE help please

hello new to forum i'm trying to find an article from mid to late 70's possably early 80's it had a picture of a 57 chevy pulling one wheel off the ground i think it was in black and white. the 57 was black i think. the article was about a $500.00 build up on a chevy engine i don't recall sbc or bbc but it was basically headers tunnel ram carb and cam i thought it was popular hot rodding but could have been another magazine i'd like to know the mag, year and month so i can find the mag or get the info thanks for the help
