respect

this concerns "your reply" to wayne willis in the septembet 2012 issue message board section.
i thought the phrase "local bacon" was out of place when i read it in the article planet of the apps, where's the five-o?
yes, the terminology is clever and funny.
what i find disturbing is how caviler you were in dismissing mr willis objection to the local bacon reference.
i think our police need to be respected for the job they do.
respect is earned, the guy has 27 years on the job, he's earned my respect and i have no idea where he is located.  
mr willis was offended and i think  popular hotrodding owes him an apology.

I agree that respect is earned. That all seems to have gone by the way side these days. No-one seems to give a Chit about the other guy any more.
