I read Antoo Sands rant concerning The Pinpoint of a Donk. Really???? Where did you go to school to learn proper english, spelling, and sentence structure? The school of Ghetto talk? Please!!! My seven year old grand daughter knows english and spelling better then you! Mr Sands... your computer has spell check...try using it, especially if you're going to write to a magazine. Secondly.. proof read your writing prior (that means before) to emailing it where it could possibly be read by MILLIONS of people. I'm quite sure you're a fine individual who just didn't pay attention to your teachers. And now I'm betting you wish you had. And by the way, there NOTHING in the article (or ad as you wrote it) that was racist. Plus.. if the shoe fits then where it pal. As I once told my son "If you dress like a certain crowed of people, you'll associated with them, even if you don't belong with them."

I just tried reading Antoo Sands rant of the month. WOW, I cannot believe you would actually put that in a magazine. I couldn't even finish reading it because MY BRAIN HURTS from trying to make sense out of it . Please don't do that anymore.:confused

Yep, the spelling is off on it...tho there's plenty of places on the 'Net (this place included) where people just don't worry about spelling anymore. Its an entitlement society now, folks...people believe they are just that important to not be held back by rules.
He was right about the donk definition, tho...at least there he was precise. And "dubs" wasn't an attempt to look like stolen merchandise (nor saggy pants, which are meant to represent the "one-size-fits-all" you get in prison. Its to show solidarity. No, I don't think its fashionable, either.)
When sports figures returned back to the 'hood after making some cash, they had luxury SUV's with big rims...because of course, they fit the bigger wheel wells. The OG's (old school gangskas) would just laugh, saying anyone could buy a new car, it took something to rebuild an old car. Both groups, of course, were just copying what they saw on MTV vidoes, the same way Hollywood always goes for 1970 Chevelles and Dodge Chargers (see my post elsewhere on Hollywood killing our classics).
thus came the combo of old "hand me down" car, and big rims that required some suspension knowledge to make fit (typically 4x4 lift tricks) by raising the car up. Is it racist? Well, if you have to explain it, defend it, or reference it..then you're thinking about it.
Just because you can't do it...doesn't mean its impossible
