Beware Keisler transmissions

Keisler Engineering does not want you to know that their RS 400 through RS 600, so called "Perfect Fit" transmissions are REMANUFACTURED. Check their website and see if you can find anything that says they are remanufactured. They only disclose that on the purchase page of the site and that is burried in the middle of two paragraphs of fine print. Why buy a REMANUFACTURED transmission at new prices ($6,000)? Good question.
In addition to being REMANUFACTURED, they will not pay any labor for warranty repair and it took them 9 months to get my transmission to me. When it was finally there, there were many incorrect parts that had to be returned and replaced. Even then, they sent incorrect parts requiring a second exchange.

REMANUFACTURED IS NOT NEW.
