Im going for a pro touring style on a slim budget with lots of time. whats the best most cost efective way to get power discs and power steering for my 62 chevy short bed 2wd c10?

Will you be taking this on long distances? "cheap" can mean, "repair soon", and if you're stuck somewhere with only a "Not A Part Availible" as your source for parts, you may want to look towards OEM stuff. But if you're going to just putt around and can get towed home, aftermarket may be better since you're buying in bulk.
btw...have you tried the pickup truck magazine websites?
Just because you can't do it...doesn't mean its impossible
