In the current issue (March 2012) James Potter wrote that he was disappointed that PHR was not featuring more cars with 15 inch traditional type wheels.  On one hand I understand his point. And I see how you are trying to target whatever demographics that seem to be targeted by your advertisers. But I thought your response to his letter was arrogant and insulting to him and to a lot of your "Big Mac" readers.  As for you being "prime rib", sprinkled in with the advertising articles and the how to articles about how to build an engine, trans, suspension or whatever that 90% of the readers can never do, you have some helpful bits.  Nobody expects you to kiss a** but you don't need to insult readers because they disagree with your idea of the best content.  Be a little more professional than that.  There are a lot of ways you could answer without being insulting.

I think this guy along with "James Potter" need to quit being such marys and grow up.  Man, if youre feelings get hurt that easily, why dont you go read a magazine more suited to you, like better homes and gardens.  The majority of fellow muscle car people out here love the pro touring and g machines.  You think that the response to Potters whinny, "I wnat more 15 inch wheels" was insulting.  I find you and potter insulting.  You dont like it, tough.  Thats whats great about our country, we dont all have to like the same things.  But you, are in the minority whether you like it or not.  By the way, I also like the 15 inch wheels as well, and grew up with them as I am 46, but I unlike you and the insulting Potter, I can still appreciate and admire the works of others even if it is not my cup of tea.  So, grow up.  You and Potter.

I know what your saying but everything you purchase today has atleast 16" to 20" wheels on it and bigger. I really like the options of today... I'm 64 and I like to see what the younger guys are doing with their rides. I went to war so we could have the freedom we have today. Enjoy it, life is WAY TO SHORT!
Thanks
Bob

Couldnt have said it better Bob, and thank you for your service to our country and my freedom.  People are so quick to whine and complain.  They just need to grow up and appreciate the differences.  Doesnt mean they have to put them on their cars!!
