T & L engines

IF YOU BUY AN ENGINE FROM THESE PEOPLE YOU ARE INSANE !!!
I purchased 383 stoker in Nov 2008. After every excuse and lie I got the motor in March but without starter,clutch,clutch discs. Got the rest of parts in April.Put  motor in 81 vette,went to drive to body shop for completion with 32 miles on motor,driving 45 miles per hour,motor blew up. I HAVE NEVER SPUN TIRES ON CAR!! I called and started over they were going to build new motor and ship right away. They wanted my motor back but I will not ship untill I get another.IT"S now 3 1/2 months later I still have nothing. I tore this motor down and found blown head gaskets(never torqued properly)wrong water pump, etc. I got a lawyer and my goal is to put them out of business

Whell I am from the netherlands and not satisfiet about T&L.

I bought an engine at there plase bud they forgot to sent me a carburator/waterneck and aircleaner.
I am now trying to get the missing parts for more than 9 months.

Is there somone who can help me to get the missing parts, they where allways prommised me bud do nothing..
Thanks and I really hope somone can help me out.

I ordered and paid for a 408 Chevy engine almost TWO YEARS AGO. When I can get them to answer the phone they lie to me about back orders: shipping problems, their dyno is down for repair, my engine is in final assembly, and my favorite "it will come any week now". THEY NEVER RETURN CALLS OR E-MAIL.

I was promised a three month delivery time almost two years ago.

Look T & L Engine development up on the net and you will find scores of people screwed by Lloyd McCleary just like they are defrauding me right now.

The pity of it is that I have been an ASE Certified Master Mechanic and Engine Machinist for 35 years. The ONLY reason I had them build an engine for me was to save a little time before I retired. HA !!!
