Hi, about 14 years ago I bought a set of Eagle H-Beam rods from a local engine builder. They haven't been used in almost 14 years, so I want to sell them, but I'm afraid I may have been sold an off brand instead. But from what I found online, these are missing two characteristics of Eagle rods. They are missing the ridge in the reliefs on the sides of the rods, and they don't have the chamfers on the outside of the forgings next to the bolts. The bolts are correct, though. Anyone able to identify these by pictures? Were the very early Eagles different? There are no markings on these at all, except unique stamping numbers on the rods and caps.
They are 6.000" rods for SBC, 2.100" big end, .927" small

Thanks for your help.

Thanks for the reply, I was afraid they weren't Eagle's. They have ARP-1.7 ESP-8740 on the bolts, which are early made-for Eagle bolts, but that doesn't mean anything.
I wish I still had the receipt...
Thanks again,
Jack
