Hello Hot Rod world!!! I'm a new comer to the car world but I do alot of reading. I'm so happy y'all built that 460 and stroked to 532 cid, I have a couple of questions...Do you use the same torque specifications as the stock engine when putting on all those performance aluminum parts? And which do you prefer between using a mechanical and electric fuel pump? This all referring to that Ford 532 cid with almost 800 horses running on 93 octane...I really wanna build this ford motor for myself, I have a 1977 Ford LTD Landua, it has that 351M in it...That motor sucks.

That 351M is a tall-deck 351 Cleveland with a big block bellhousing bolt pattern. Look into hotrodding a 351Cleveland, Edelbrock has an intake for the 351M...and there ya go. I don't think the trans you have bolted up to your M's gonna handle a stroked out Lima, since you were going to ask, tho.
When you refer to a mechanical fuel pump, you mean the one hanging off the front of the block activated by the cam? Its easier to push fuel from the back with an electric pump, than to suck it from the front against G-forces of acceleration.
