so many different options with plugs...

have you examined the hei???
pulled the top cover and looked at the coil sides for circular patterns where the high voltage might be leaking out??

looked inside for carbon tracking??

checked the rotor, see if it is burned through??

ohm tested the wires??  200K ohm scale , wire length should be longer in inches than the numbers on the display of your digital volt meter.. 24" wire should read less than 24 on the display.

examined the boots where the fit on the plugs for burned areas..

checked the compression??

by the way     what casting number heads do you have??   some used a gasket seat plug, some used a taper seat plug??   you can see the seats with a small mirror when the spark plug is out...

Just go to standard resistor plugs, you'll be a lot happier.
