How do you wire a TBI engine in a 70's model car?

I used to be here for a 4 door Chevelle. It's scrapped. I now have a 74 Pontiac Ventura with a completely destroyed 350. I am replacing it with a Chevrolet 350 out of a 89 Chevrolet pickup and I am wondering how in the world I would wire in the engine computer into the Ventura without redoing the entire electronic system in the car. I have the wiring harness and the computer along with all the engine electronics.

You need to get an aftermarket controller from a company like fast. The controller will take care of controlling the basic engine functions, and eliminates all the other duties the stock '89 computer would perform. Plus, the new controller gives you easier tuning for more power.

i thought if you have the engine, harness, ecm install a proper pressure fuel pump and lines you could get get with just a few wires to hook up from the tbi harness to the body... tbi does rely on o2 sensors so they have to be installed also
print up the wiring diagram for the 89 ... and for the 74...
you will really need to be sure to install the aldl wiring so you can diagnose it with a obd1 scan tool...
this swap has been done a bunch ... just not covered a lot in mags....
