Word has come down that Chevy might be using a 2.0 Turbo in the all new Camaro, for the entry level model. The motor makes about 260 H.P. and with the high cost of gas this could be the future of the muscle car.
What do you guys think?

The funny thing about this is that 260 H.P. trumps the Horsepower of many of the Camaro's of yesteryear, to bad it just won't sound right.

Sorry Chevy, musclecars and pony cars have V8's. If they don't they are just a car.

Try telling that to V6 Mustang owners!

While it wont sound right, if you all are any kind of car guys then you've had to have seen the 500hp SRT4s or the 500WHP Mazda3. That would not be a bad thing.

As long as a V8 is offered as an option, I don't have a problem with the 2.0 turbo being the base motor. It's a pretty gutsy little engine.
