I have a question?  I have a 2007 Honda Accord which was involved in a motor vehicle accident last month.  When the adjuster came out, he noticed rust in the engine block.  The week that the accident occurred, it rained heavily for a few days and the adjuster was over to see the car a week after and this is when he noticed the rust.  Now before this, the car sat for about 7-8 months on the side of my house.  Could it sitting there cause the engine block to rust?  

WHERE DID THE ADJUSTER SEE THE RUST? IN THE OIL CAP HOLE, THE RADIATOR, OR DID HE PULL A SPARK PLUG?
