Drag Radials used on the street?

Since BFGoodrich no longer makes 265/50 or 295/50-15" TA radials anymore, my only choice for tires seems to be either Cooper street tires or some brand of drag radials. Does anybody have experience using drag radials exclusivly for street driving on a G machine? I know that I am not alone after visiting the Cobra Forums and reading their same problems.
Wheels are currently 10" & 12" x 15" Weld draglites. Choices for tires seems to be 275/50-15" in front and 325/50-15" rear.
With that tall of a rear tire(27.9") I will need either a 3.93 or 4.10 rear axle ratio, and I do have a .80 overdrive, so theoreticlly, if I could reach 6000 RPM in forth gear w/ a 4.10 R&P, my top speed would be 121MPH which is how fast it goes now @ 5000RPM w/ 3.31 R&P and is fast enough for me.
Too bad they don't make a drag radial with a street tread and compound in a high speed rating.

I run the Nitto drag radials on the street. They have a good tread pattern. I have even been caught in rain with no problems. I blast around corners with them. I know of several people that run them at all four corners for road racing. They may not be as sticky as ET street radials but, they do work. I recommend them. Try a set.

Nitto has you covered with both of those sizes in the NT555R Extreme Drag Radial.
Here's a link to the size page: http://www.nittotire.com/#index.tire.nt555r.sizes
I use nothing but Drag Radials or R-compound Nittos on all my cars. My NASCAR-style Laguna even has drag radials (275/60R15) on the front. Have never had any problems running them on the street, and I've gotten as much as 17,000 miles out of a set.
