Dear Sirs, Are E85 conversions legal ? I know all kinds of people make E85 carbs , but does this fall under "off road use only " ? The state of florida has released over 20 million in grants for alternative fuels plants and over a dozen plants are being built right now to make cellulosic ethanol(search florida farm to fuel ).If this turns into reality (and it seems it will,E85 is becoming more available everyday), my 2001,1500HD is not E85 compatible . As far as I can find out GM has not made a 3/4 ton 6.0L E85 compatible truck. So I don't even have the option of buying one that is compatible . Any information you have would be greatly appreciated .
Thank you 2X4 Great magazine by the way

It varies state by state, and the technology is so new i'm not sure if it has even been thought about in many states I do know that there are several companies working on making Converter kits.
