If you have never heard of the Nurburgring race track in Germany then you are missing out on one of the great race tracks the world has to offer.
The brand new Cadillac CTS-V set a blistering new track record for fastest production four door on street tires, at 7.59.32 Seconds. Mind you anything under 8 minutes is damn impressive stuff.

I rented a Porsche when I was stationed in Germany in 1985 and took it on the track. It was one of the coolest times I have had driving. The best part is before and after the race track I drove 160mph on the Autobon. Got to love those Germans. They know how to build a freeway!
