Ok, im 18, just got a 1986 Trnas Am with a 305 in it. Has 105,00 original miles and i am only the second owner, basiacally i have the summer and about 750 dollars to try and juice this thing up before i head to college. i dunno if anything is really even possible, but any help would be great. thanks

You can get good results with a 305 specific cam, and changing the motor from a flat tappet to hydraulic roller. Replace the springs, pushrods, valve stem seals, and a good aluminum manifold.
