Does anyone know why brake lines coming out of a master cylinder have several curly Q's before heading down towads the frame? I ask this because I am in the process of mounting a master cylinder from a 75 chevy c20 to the firewall on a 57 chevy truck and the original brakeline from the 75 for both the disks and drums have the curly Qs, as well as I have noticed them on my 90 S10 and 94 GMC Sierra. However it appears that I need to make nu lines because the master cylinder now sits closer to the center line of the truck and about 6 inches higher so the stocklines don't clear the power steering pump.
