In the March 08 mag ,Shame on the editors and Tyler Beauregard !!! Lying to the owner of a fellow car enthusiast just so you can cut up his car when that is not what he hoped for in the new owner and then BRAG about it, for shame! How is that different then buying a rebuilt muncie at a swap meet just to find out it is not when you get home ! Is that how you liked to be treated when you sell something? What kind of confidence does that show for future clients in you ? Do the hobby a favor and save a car not hack one up.Be up front with people and have some respect for others And for shame on the editors for rewarding bad behavior by showcasing it your your mag.It gives the impression that it is OK to do that, that its SOP to do that . Do you like to be lied to and then they brag about it to everyone . Is that how you teach up and coming enthusiasts? May Karma serve you both 2 scoops full

IMO It did not seem like a joke to me and I am sure to many other readers , just like in another later issue the guy was bragging about a 68 camaro he bought for cheap or was that a joke too or IMO just a further rubbing in our faces that he bought these cars. And since when does this mag. share its stories with other mags for I seen the 68 story in another one ? Or are we not suppose to notice. IMO a joke was saying repop sheet metal is as good as original GM sheet metal or that it fits perfectly, as stated in some of the latest issues because I LMAO at those jokes and so did Many others . I have run into that situation before when a guy buys something from me with one story then it comes out later that it was a lie to get a better deal IMO this smells just like those cases. In fact to put it another way think of the camaro as a puppy that the owner wants to find a good home and was told it would be given a good home but turns out to be trained for dog fighting , how does the seller feel now ? Still a joke? Once again Shame on PHR and Shame on Tyler for disservice to our hobby.

Well it can hardly be compared to dog fighting.

What would you compare it to? Both are loved . I think you are missing the point ,you want your pride and joy going to a good home and told it is and then it is abused and then bragged about . That is the comparison ,so how is that different except one is alive . The sentiment is the same. How would you feel , IMO being lied to then having it rubbed in your face ? I hear and see it more and more in our hobby and it is just not right .
