Hi Tim, I think that 22x10 will look ugly on that car, but that's my opinon. I would put a nice pair of 15x10s with 5" to 5.5" backspace on the rear and 15x7 up front. Depending on what your going to with it you can go 16" or 17" that would look nice to. Good Luck from 70 Ekly.

there you go. also try

i don't remember how it goes, but i know one of the other chassis articles talks about back halfing a car and how to make a complete floor from scratch, including wheel tubs. the first link i do believe uses pre-fab tubs.

i also remember reading one time or another that literally the stock wheel tub is cut along with the floor sheet metal and just moved 2 or 3 inches in, then a strip of sheet metal that same width welded into the gap left from cutting and moving the stock wheel tub. but i dunno if that was a professional deal, or if it was just something done by a guy after a few beers to get the car finished thursday nite to race that weekend.

frame notch/mini tub..or go all out...S&W racecars has a direct fit kit if you want to do a back half on it....

i used to own a 70...there is enough meat to do a mini tub on it....
