I was looking at a magazine the other day and I saw and eagle stroker kit to make a 540 bbc. I have never really looked into doing a stroker motor but I am kind of thinking about it now but I don't know what exactly is involved in it. I have a 427 bbc and I know the kit comes with pistons, rings, rods, bearings, and a crank but besides that what else should I expect?

Sometimes you'll have to clearnce the skirts of the block to clear the crank throws.
With gas being sky high today, I'd say stick with the 427 dispalcement, it'll make plenty of power to move anything, and you won't be making the already lack luster fuel economy of a big block even worse!
