Has anyone done a comparison with the GMPP fast burn heads and the aftermarket aluminum heads?

The fast burn heads are pretty nice but it all depends on the application. What engine? What heads are you comparing to?

i'm using them on a 383 with a comp roller xr282..rpm air gap and holley 780..auto tranny with 2500 stall and 3:73 9 inch in my 1980 elky...i was wondering how they stack up against the afr 190 and dart as well as rhs...

If I'm not mistaken you will need a raised runner manifold or a spacer plate for your Air Gap. They are capable of around the high 400's on HP and TQ with your combo, maybe more HP. Definitely a great bargain when compared to the other heads you listed.

Comparing those to the ones you mentioned, I'd have to vote for the AFR 190's. We built a 383 not long ago and with a really mild hyd flat tappet cam (230/236) and the new 190 eliminators and it still made 472hp and 450 ft lbs. That is on a dyno with conservative numbers.
