i have a 67 chevelle malibu 4 door as some of you already know, and ive recently decided to put a 327 in instead of a 350 so i can reach the higher RPMs that i so greatly desire, but not only can i not track down a block, i dont thing that the stock drums all around are capable of stopping a massive car with massive power, so i would also like to know of any way of pulling disks off of another car that would match up or a cheap place to find a conversion kit for it (and any input on cheap restoration parts is also greatly appreciated) i currently dont have a budget for this, but i will come into some money this summer, so im posting now to find as many ideas as i can to fix this thing up before im ready. i would also like to find a 2004R transmission for it, because as ive recently discovered it has a 700R4 trans that has a few problems because a 41 year old 250 I-6 is making it slip.

Would the brakes for the 2 door fit? becuase there should be alot of options as far as that goes. and going fast is fun, but stopping is much more important.

the 2 door brakes should work, i just never thought about that before. the only real difference between the two modles of the car is the fact that the 4 door has an extended frame, but that shouldnt matter as far as brakes go, right?
