First, Hunkins published email address is either incorrect or non-existent.
Regarding the Crashed Camaro, Perhaps I'm misinterpeting something or don't have the whole story so I'll give you the benefit of the doubt before I cancel my subscription. On page 11 of the May 2008 issue, there is an article about some JA with a Camaro that lost control and went into oncoming traffic. This guy is guilty of reckless driving and should be in jail, he is really lucky that nobody died. If it were up to me he would be in jail for quite awhile and would lose his license for even longer. In my book, it's just too bad he didn't end up in the graveyard with his car. And you "hope he gets back in the saddle again soon"? Why so he can kill someone next time? WTF did I miss?

Your right... You DON'T have the whole story! The accident was just THAT!, an accident!! Try getting your FACTS straight and do something called RESEARCH before you start ranting and hoping for the demise of someone you DON'T EVEN KNOW! I also find it a bit contradictory to make a comment like "This guy is guilty of reckless driving and should be in jail" when your very SCREEN NAME is "myhammerdown". What makes it even more obsurd was you made this your FIRST post and didn't concider your screen name before ranting about someone being "reckless"?? HERE'S YOUR SIGN!
By all meens, go ahead and cancel your subscription and quit the message board while your at it. Would make this a better place to be......

The fact of the matter is that guys get into accidents all the time with their cars. When we see something like this, we always hope for the best, and that nobody was injured. Some of these cars are very old and it's almost impossible to predict everything that can go wrong with them. It is nice to know you have friends on your favorite message board--like this guy did--who are sympathetic to your plight. That was the whole point of the exercise. Our Message Board column in PHR is to highlight and celebrate the shared friendship and cameraderie that is a relatively new pohenomenon, thanks to the internet.

To Mr.Hunkins, yes people get into accidents all the time but let me quote from p11 May 08 issue, "I lost traction at 50 mph". Nobody has answered exactly how he "lost traction". I'm guessing he nailed the throttle and lost it. That does not make it "just an accident", that makes it reckless driving. I've seen it before and I've seen the fatal results because of it.
As to a79Classic, WTF does "myhammerdown" have to do with anything? I've never lost it and hit another vehicle on the street, I do my racing at the track. The "myhammerdown" came from my days Tractor Pulling. And if a family member or friend were on the dead end of some recklessness like this, would you still be defending them?
