Has anybody tried to turbocharge a motor of around 800 ci. displacement as they are supplied by Sonny's or Kaase? This is not allowed for any racing formula as far as I know - but for street use this should be a very interesting project.

Not that I am aware of, might be kind of hard to get that kind of power to the ground.

i would think that you would need to talk to a few tractor pullers....
they guys up at banks, turbo charged jay lenos tank engine car... but that is a money no object project...
