Lil’ John Buttera was a Street Rod builder, race car builder and all around innovator died Sunday March 2nd from complications with a brain tumor. He was involved in many forms of motorsports from Indy cars to Funny Cars. This has sadly come within a week of fellow pioneer Boyd Coddingtons passing.

He will be greatly missed.  

He was one of the people that I looked up to while I was growing up. He would was not just a good builder but an amazing fabricator making what he needed for his projects when it was something that couldn't be bought. That is what I enjoy about building cars. Rest In Peace Lil' John.  

Yeah, I think we were all sad to see him go.
