Which current PHR project car do you like the best?

The choices are:

Morrison 3G '60 Corvette
Project X ('57 Chevy)
Project g/28 ('76 Camaro)
Bad Penny ('68 Camaro LS2 g-Machine)
Street Sweeper Chevelle ('68 BBC Chevelle)
Fastlane Fairlane ('70 Ford Fairlane Torino)  

Somebody's got to have an opinion on this?  

It has to be project X  

I've been hearing that a lot lately. Do you think it matters that most people can't afford a '57 Chevy (unlike when the project was first started in 1965)?  

I personally like the 70 Fairlane project.  I pass a 71 Fairlane 500 4 door every day on the way to work, so the project has me oogling things I shouldn't.  

Come on there has to be more people out there with opinions, this place has been awfully quite the last couple of weeks  

I forgot one other car, Project Orphan ('90 Mustang LX with an LS1 Camaro engine). That one ought to kick the arguments up into high gear.  

So far, I prefer the Chevelle out of those listed.  My favorite car out of the past few months was the Blue Chevy II set up for road racing.

Regarding '57s being untouchable for the common man, I agree that it may effect the popularity of the project, but I think there are other factors that are more important.  When you ask an average guy who is out to build his dream car what he wants to build, they are no longer listing 50s cars.

While the "average" rodder may want one, those same average Joes are getting long in the tooth.  The younger crop, myself included at 26, have no memory of those cars.  The middle aged guys remember them, but they want what they had back in high school. Heck, of all the stories told to me by my dad about his days terrorizing the countryside in myriad hot-rods, there is one pre-60s car.  And that one was the family car.  

I personally like the Street Sweeper Chevelle. It is a really cool car. I am anxious to see how it behaved at the track.

We already ran the car in a series of runs. The best one was a 11.70/112 I think. It should be running better than this, and I've got a pretty big hunch that our stock 3/8-inch fuel line is to blame. I'd like to get this upgraded, install a wide-band sensor, and do a chassis dyno tune before going out again. Look for some other stuff to appear first. The next story is the shifter install, then the oil pan fix. The first drag test will be next, then maybe the fuel line upgrade.  

I love Project X, in it's new form and every form its taken in the past couple of decades.  

also I saw the 3g Vette at a show a couple months back, pretty nice if i may say so myself  

I seen Project X. in-person and personally I think that it's the best car on the road today.
This car supposed to air on hot Rod TV.  Does anybody have a time and Channel that this car is going to premiere.
