I like project g28. This car represents a car that is still easy to afford, has lots of aftermarket support, and made a cool car.

I also really like Project G/28 for many the same reasons rodpala mentioned and to add these cars are still flying below the radar of collectors at present but will not for much longer; grab one now for cheap, build for the next 4-5 yrs. and when the doors open you have a ride people are really starting to appreciate and drool over at the shows. I would really love to see a supplement publication but out collecting all the tech articles, tech letters and any other words put in print about it. These kinds of extras are put out there by many magazines so why not do these for the project cars when they hit the end of the magazine lime light. The articles are all already written they just need to be mashed inside the same cover.

You know what, after seeing project G/28 on the cover of the April 2008 issue, I think I fell in love with it. Looks great with it's fresh paint job.

I hate to say it but, Bad penny. I know we see lots of camaros. Now that I'm looking for a new project I'm thinking 'bout a 68 camaro. I'd really like to see a car built that get good fuel economy and has some power. I like odd things though. How about a turbo 68 firebird overhead cam inline 6. Can that be done? Or any other inline 6 turboed.

where did the project 9 second Vega ever end up, I'd love to show my boys a pic of that car ,, i wonder if there is anywhere to download the articles and pics of that car , really loved it when they put in the 396 that was being rebuilt by the magazine after it got a solid cam , torker intake , 850 holley and a nitrous system and flogged , think it went 11.0's if my memory serves me , that was a real to life engine anyone could build,, ahhh the glory days

How long ago was the Vega Project car? I'm not familiar with it.
Also there is word of a couple of new projects coming down the line in the future. Keep your eyes peeled!

Just read the info on the latest track day. Here's what you need to do: go to Wal Mart and buy a cheap weather station, it doesn't have to accurate as long as it's the only one you use. It should have temp, barometer and humidity. Get a copy of Racing Systems Analysis' DENSITY program and compare the weather conditions each time you go to the track; the new numbers are meaningless without this data. The fuel line upgrade did not help as your trap speed and 60 foot time was the same, given the cooler temps. You still need to get that cruise night cam out of there and go with something that complements those great heads; and for Pete's Sake call Contenental convertors and have one custom made to your engine's power curve. I love the fact that when you goof up, you admit it; but listen to the guys who know how to do this stuff.

So do we have an official count on the favorite project car?
