He means a you-pull-it-yard. A junkyard where you go and remove the parts you need yourself.
This is gonna be the cheapest way for you to find a small block for your car (looks like a 66-67 Malibu?)
Since your car is a I-6, there's gonna be some other stuff you'll need for a V-8 swap.
To better help you out:
A) What's your budget?
B) What car do you have, plus what trans does it have?
There are some things you can do with the 250 I-6, if you don't have hte budget to do a V-8 swap, then we can help you out to get some more power from the 250 so you can take care of the pest in the Scion!

well, my budget aint that much, seeing as i am currently (unfortunatly) unimployed. its a 67 chevelle with nothing more than a set of malibu tailights from a junkyard. it does however have a t-350 trans, i believe. it is a three speed from what i can tell. i havent really gotten it up to speed, so im not sure, but it definetly isnt the stock powerglide.

ok, it isnt a t-350. whatever it may be, its a 4 speed. ill try to get to the ID plate the next time its on ramps, which may be a while. the brakes dont work at the moment.

well if the brakes don't work, if you want to stop your going to have to think ahead.

Or you could buy a giant boat anchor and heave it over the side everytime you need to stop
