If all goes well in the next two weeks, we'll be swapping head gaskets on our SBC 406 from the Engine Masters Challenge and dropping the engine into our friends 59 Jaguar to do some land speed racing at Maxton, NC. Last event of the year is Oct 20-21 so check it out at www.ecta-lsr.org

That sounds like an interesting car, when it's all finished i'd like to see pictures of it if you get any.

We'll take some pix for you. The car is up and running and sitting in my shop now. We'll be heading out Friday afternoon and should be making passes at 9am Sat!

We made it out and managed to set two records running 169.5mph in B/CGALT and 179.8mph in A/CGALT. No changes to the engine just getting more comfy with the car. LOTS of fun to drive and it pulls like crazy. You can see some pix at the bottom of this page http://www.revolutionaryperformance.com/racing.htm

We also chassis dyno'd the car and it made 518rwhp and 462ft-lbs through the TH400 tranny
