in the message board in volume 47 no 9 has an article about CSA paper money that is followed by "to go with the white hood, right?-ed" thats about as stereotypical as saying a Hispanic person is illegal, trafficking dope, and raping girls right and left. or a black kid with watermelon, collard greens, corn bread, fried chicken, a "forty", got more gold than Mr.T, he must sell crack, steal dvd players, not pay child support for his 16 kids, and wants unemployment and reparations. *** are you thinking. i read your magazines religiously, until I saw that, and i wonder if Mr. Peterson (God rest his soul) is turning around in his grave. I was born in the South, and am proud of where I came from. People call me racist cause I display the flag my ancestors fought for (which was there way of life, not the right to own slaves) but this is where the flag came from. Its not like im taking that flag to another country saying im proud to be from a county that i had to leave just to find a job and clean water (no offense). Now that i see how u feel about the subject I think I'll find another publication and i think the members of my hunting clubs, classic car clubs, and trail rig clubs and various other groups that I am a member of or deal with (I'm in after market sales) will be burning the rest of there subscriptions. Good luck, hope you find a better way to treat your readers that stay, maybe someday I'll allow your publications in one of my places of business.

I was born and raised in the south. In fact, I lived in Greensboro, NC and was in high school there when the KKK gunned down 7 blacks during a protest march--it was all caught on TV. Talk about racial tensions. People who aren't from the south love to joke about it, but this stuff really happened and those kind of people aren't stereotypes, they're real. All that aside, I have nothing against numismatists, or their hobby. At any rate, there's nothing like a good ol' fashioned book burning. Have fun with that, but be aware of the stereotype you're reinforcing.

Collecing confederate currancy doesn't make one a racist.. it's a goofy jump in logic.
I don't even think those that display the confederate flag are "racist"... that flag stands for many things besides racism (although to some it does stand for that).
I use to collect money. In fact I had several pieces from Nazi Germany.. that doesn't make me a Nazi. just someone interested in history.
