461" using a 400 block. Edelbrock heads. Driven like it was stolen with the cops chasing me with guns drawn. Purchased in 1993 in San Diego,CA so the car has never been in the snow. All work except the paint was done in my garage over a period of 14 years on a $1000 a year budget. In 2002 I received a fuel system from Holley. In 2003 I won the "Win Your Dream engine Sweepstakes" Pontiac engine on Friday 13, announced in October 2003 issue on page 13 and it was my 13th year of marriage.
Currently the TA runs 11.50@116 mph. It has 3.73 gears in a 12 bolt Chevy rear end. 4.33 are being installed soon to reduce the ET to 11.30's? The suspension is a Hotchkis TVS system. Crager Racing wheels with ET street 28/12.5/15 Street, 28/11/15 Goodyear slicks for the track. The interior was done back to stock with a 10 roll cage installed. The engine was redone after it blew up 275 miles ,due to bad machining so , after I won it. It has a Butler 4.250 stroke crank, Ross liteweight race pistons and 6.8" BBC Eagle Rods. A Bullet Racing Cam with .618" lift 256/258@.050 duration. Ported Edelbrock heads,317cfm @.600 lift. The trans is a manual shift TH-350 with an extra clutch in third gear. I run a Strange chrome-moly 3.5" driveshaft.
