Yeah speed channel is not one of my favorite channels. It would be awesome to have a hot rodding channel, there are 900 channles out there you would think Hot Rodders could get their own.
On a side note does anybody watch Top Gear on BBC America? Not necesarily about hot rods, but they do some cool stuff that any gearhead can enjoy. even if they do rag on american cars a little ***

Always enjoyed PHR although you started to lose me when you got to much into the Pro Touring thing ... a little, okay, too much, not so good ... The last few issues have been really good though, so keep that up. One thing I'd like to see again is when you used to show what was in the mag 10 and 20 years ago for the same month. Always enjoyed that. Don't mind that artsy photo's so long as it's accompanyed by a "real" shot of the car as well. Keep up the good work!

More True Street stuff!Thats were the b.s. ends, posers will of course hate this.Less blower(6-71) coverage.More nitrous car coverage, info, tech.Nitrous better fits with your coverage of <$20k readers cars(which is one of the best things going in your mag.).I like the Fairlane project also.

My suggestion is more of the same. Real cars, built by people who do other things besides build cars. Show cars are nice and a bonafide way of getting good ideas to put on my car - but rather then proving you can write a check and follow instructions kind of car; I'd much rather see cars built and broke by the same person. Oh yeah, and an article on cheap rear disks for your Chevelle. For example, I bought some 10.5 disks off an Z-28 Camaro fpr $40 bucks at a swap meet and I am putting them on my 70 Skylark 12 bolt. It works, and way less dollars involved then an aftermarket package. But, it is a project that requires some thought to do (i.e. in stock position the caliper conflicts with the left shock mount.... ) but for a bit of machine work it's still 50% off the price of a "package". Also, real HP articles... I like the focus on the new LS motors, but when you say 500 hp from an LS motor for 12k my instant thought is I get the same HP from "old" technology at 1/3rd the cost.

How about a then and now on those ex-project cars? (if you can find them)
My favorite of all time was the early 70's Vega that the late Mike Johnson built with the BBC and giant rear meats.(Named: SMOC-UM )
As a teenager, I wore out the pages of those issues (late 70's)dreaming about that Vega! (especially with the black and gold paint job)
Still have every issue since 1976.

wayyyy less chevy, and Please! way more ford, oldsmobile, pontiac, buick, cadillac, and amc. i hate seeing the same stuff all the time.
being a big block ford man id love to see some real builds that people have out there on these motors, the horsepower per dollar with these engines is great.
just dont pull a car craft and do major product placement builds, like the advertisement for edelbrock big ford heads where they think 500hp is great when i can do that with stock iron heads easily, for a fraction of the cost.
