I put an erson cam in a small block chevy and now the motor wont run unless its 50 degrees advanced, I thought it was the timing light and I put in a differant timing light and the same thing. Uni light distributor alone and a MSD with a number 6 box and it stil does the same thing. It wont run unless 50 degrees advanced. I checked around and it seems I am not the only one with this problem. A friend of mine has an 86 mustang with a 350 blower motor and the cam in it is 528 lift comp cam and he is having the same problem. Setting the initial timing at 8 or 10 degrees the car won't run. whats up?
