Buy this book: How to build High-Performance Chevy LS1/LS6 Engines:Modifying and Tuning Gen III For GM Cars&Pickups by Will Handzel
It was written by one of the engineers that designed the LS series motors and is well worth the bucks. Some of the info is a bit dated but still quite useful. Also , if you are a 'net junkie , go by www.ls1tech.com , lot of good info there.
As for an answer to your question: Inner bolts: Step one:15ft/lbs Step two: Turn an additional 80 degrees
Outer stud nuts: Step one:15 ft/lbs Step two:Turn an additional 50 degrees Side bolts:18ft/lbs
