i've picked up a 1999 vortec and i'm tring to do a bucks down build based on the sledgehammer engine.in that article there is no mention of tech stuff i need ,like,how to install the one piece rear seal, and what to torque it to.what if any differance is the torque on the four bolt mains/rodbolts?i know i need a lot of answers but this is my first build,and the first second gen/vortec i'v dealt with. thanks to any and all who can help. nickyb..........

well,i've got the info for the rear seal,and the crank is in,i checked for clearences and its within limits [ .0015/.0020 ] so now i'm gonna check the rod clearences and then put the totalseal gapless rings on.this block is starting to look like something
