I bought this new upgrade kit for my 57 Bel Air, which included 2" drop spindles, and complete disc brakes, master cylinder, proportioning valve and booster.
The problem I have; is that I have everything hooked up right and I have no real brake pressure.  The pedal is really soft, and right at the floor I can feel the pressure hit the brakes.  I followed the instructions word by word, but I've never set up a disc/drum setup before with a proportioning valve.  If anyone has any ideas on where I messed up, please reply.
Any info or any leads would be great, I love crusing around with it, but no brakes or very little scares a guy. thanks

Also I want to replace all the brake line, but not sure what size to use for a new brake system. thanks again.
