I know Johnny Hunkins did a couple of articles on E85 before he came to PHR. I'd like to know if he's going to follow on with more articles, like about people who have converted, not just using an E85 spray like you'd use Nitreous.
I know shops are not supposed to sell kits/systems to convert to E85, but individual owner can. I'm looking for the technical sbsticals, like if you have to replace O-rings in 96 and older vehicles.

Well Hiya! I work for a hot rod/performance magazine in Sweden. I'm currently building a project car, a '70 El Camino SS, renovated with eco-friendly techniques (water based paint etc). The latest step was the start-up of my motor, a 383 stroker with an Edelbrock Performer RPM package, including their Pro-Flo fuel injection. This baby now runs on E85, and like a dream too! 426 Hp STD @ 6100 RPM, with 460 lB/ft @ 3400 RPM..I added a fuel pressure regulator, and of course altered settings for the fuel injection/ignition. Other than that, everything is stock out of the box. Check out this film from the dyno test!
