Can you guys do projects on rare V8 engines from the 50's eg. Packard 374;Lincoln 368;Studebaker 289: before these engines disappear altogether. You could buy them at the junkyard, and strip them, showing readers what the parts look like and give all blueprint sizes.Old hotrodders and youngsters alike would find this interesting, because by now we can rebuild a Chevy 350 or Ford 302 with our eyes closed. Thanks

How come this gent received no reply?
I was just going to post something similar.
A gent at the Studebaker performance forum said he contacted you and was pretty much told to go away. WHY?
The are a lot of Studebaker, Packhard and first gen. AMC engines out there that can be hot rodded for no more than todays big buck engines.
Why the silence.
I have been reading PHR for near forty years and finally found it worth subscribing to a few years ago. Sincerely Bob Riebe

I have an 87 Monte with a 4.3 motor. I have a 350 Olds motor with a 400 tranny to drop in. What mods are in store for me, and would the Olds motor work well or even match up to the Chevy tranny?

How about a Buick straight 8? Everytime I blink an eye, all I see is 350 shibby, 350 shibby, 350 shibby, 350 shibby, 350 shibby. You know it gets old after a while.
