You gotta love how GM does stuff in slow motion and on the sly. Contrast this announcement with the Chrysler's unambiguous announcement on the Challenger.

duke of oil: does anyone know for sure how healthy the new camaro power plant is and how large?
I don't think a formal announcement has been made on what the available powerplants will be, but if I was a betting man...
base V6: either the 3800 or preferably the 3.6L DOHC from the new Cadillacs
z28: ls2
MAYBE a limited-run SS model with either an LS7 or a supercharged LS2
